The operator of AnnaiDesk (the “Service”) handles personal information in accordance with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and other applicable laws, as described below.
1. Information we collect
Tour company staff: company name, name, email address, phone number, username, travel agency registration number.
Guides: name, email address, languages, areas, licence, profile photo, bank details, LINE ID, WhatsApp number and, optionally, the qualified invoice issuer number.
Travellers: the name, email address, phone number, nationality, language, hotel and requests entered in a booking request.
Usage: login times, and view counts of public pages with the visitor’s country. We do not store IP addresses.
2. How we use it
To provide the Service, verify identity, send messages about bookings and assignments, bill fees, answer enquiries, handle incidents and prevent abuse, and improve the Service.
3. Traveller information
Information a traveller enters in a booking request is collected by the tour company that receives the request and is used to arrange that tour. The operator stores and processes it on the company’s behalf.
A customer’s phone number and email address are shown only to the guide who has accepted that tour.
4. Sharing and processors
We do not provide personal information to third parties without consent, except where required by law.
We use service providers for hosting, database, file storage, email delivery and abuse prevention. Some of them are located outside Japan.
5. Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, per-company data separation and access controls.
6. Access, correction and deletion
On request and after verifying identity, we will disclose, correct, stop using or delete your personal information. Travellers may contact the tour company they booked with, or the contact below.
7. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.
